Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has opened a GoFundMe account to raise 2 Billion Naira Relief Funds for victims of Abule Ado explosion.
While speaking at the scene of the explosion yesterday, the governor said the State Government alone cannot bear the victim relief responsibilities alone but a GoFundMe account will be opened with 250million Naira only from the state pockets.

Earlier today, the Governor announced that the GoFundMe account is ready and appealed to Nigerians to contribute whatever they have to support the explosion victims.

Meanwhile, Nigerians have reacted to this move by the Lagos State government and a lot of questions were coming in as regards why a government that generates N30bn monthly and about N360bn yearly cannot foot a 2billion Naira bills for victims of explosion in the state.

But then, what happens if the money didn’t get complete?
Does it mean Sanwo-Olu will go back to Abule-Ado to tell them the government has tried so they are on their own?
